Caring for Our Watersheds

The CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS program is an environmental educational competition encouraging creativity and rewarding students for the solutions they identify. By partnering with community based organizations Caring for Our Watersheds hopes to create focused solutions to local watershed issues.

Each year Agrium invites students to submit proposals that answer the question:
“WHAT CAN YOU DO TO IMPROVE YOUR WATERSHED?”

The program rewards the students and the schools who submit the most creative, thought-provoking and innovative ideas. There is funding for implementation and community mentorship available to turn the student’s ideas into solutions.

The LSWC is promoting the Caring for Our Watersheds Program in our watershed. For more information please contact our Education & Outreach Coordinator at 780-523-9800 or by email at [email protected].
